Air Cadet Parade Night

The Air Training Corps (ATC) is a uniformed youth organisation for girls and boys, aged 13 to 18, (17 is max age to join) who participate in many events in the local community.
Cadets enjoy a wide range of activities such as flying, gliding, adventure training, shooting, annual camps at RAF stations and the Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme.
Subjects cadets learn include basic communications (radio), RAF and ATC history, first aid, airmanship, map reading, drill, initial expedition training and the history of flight. BTEC in aviation studies can be gained by passing exams at senior level.
Other projects and activities include computer projects, camping, aircraft modelling and a large range of sports. We also participate in Queen's Park Open Day and other local community events.

Come down to Town Hall Library for an informal social morning with inspiring activities and a seasonable program with invited guest speakers.
Talk about books and reading, borrow the latest bestsellers, bring your knitting, crochet or any other craft you enjoy and share your skills with others.
